Country Ham Festival!

We went to the Country Ham Festival last weekend. Landon had a blast! Here he is feeding the cows.
Watching the baby pig race on Daddy's shoulders.
Mommy and Landon watching the firemen climb the firetruck ladder.
Pickin' out a pumpkin.
Feedin' the goats.

Landon's 2nd Birthday!

Landon's 2nd birthday party at our house.
The theme was Elmo and he got this huge talking Elmo from his Great Aunt Sherry. He loved it!
Blowing out the candle.
Opening his new bubble grill. I think he likes it!
Landon and Daniel playing with his new 4-wheeler at his party in Hend. He wasn't too sure how to work the red button at first but he got the hang of it later once we got out in the yard.
Daddy and Landon opening his gifts. He got lots of new clothes and toys.

Just Horsin' Around

Landon went horsebackriding twice this weekend. He loves Firecracker and kept saying her name over and over. She is so gentle! Landon is not afraid of anything!
Landon and mommy on Firecracker.
Grandpa and Landon.
Grandpa leading Landon and Firecracker around the yard.
We went for a ride out in the field and the next thing I knew, Landon was falling forward fast asleep so we had to come back in! We couldn't resist getting a picture of this. Firecracker rocked him to sleep.

Day At The Fair!

We went to the Williamson County fair last weekend and Landon had a big time on this little ride. The car he was in was a fire truck, which he likes (notice he has a fire truck on his t-shirt too).

Destin 2008

Landon poses out on the condo deck.
Scott made Landon a little pool in the sand. He wasn't too sure about the sand again this year but he got used to it pretty fast. He liked the pool much better though.
Landon did enjoy the waves.
Takin' a walk after dinner.
Landon really liked feeding the ducks by the pond. We did that several nights after dinner.

Relaxin' before bedtime.

Happy 4th of July!

Grandpa and Landon - on our way to the inagural fireworks show at The Crossings in Spring Hill.

The fireworks were great! They lasted over 20 minutes.
Landon kept saying "fireworks" and was pointing at them. His eyes got really big when they first started. I'm glad he wasn't scared.
Landon gives cousin Daniel a big hug.
Landon with Bryson and Daniel. The wagon was a hit and kept them entertained before the fireworks started.
Hitchin' a ride on Daddy's shoulders.

Landon was tired by the end of the show. It was way past his bedtime! But Grandpa enjoyed getting to hold him for a while.

"TRAC-TURRRR!"

Landon is obsessed with "trac-turrrrs" (his new favorite word) and lawn mowers. Trent and Christa live in a new development and there are several big tractors/bulldozers sitting around the neighborhood. He had a fit over them when we were walking so Trent took him for a ride on his John Deere when we got back. He loved it!

Landon & Bryson

Landon and Bryson play in Bryson's pool together. They had a big time! Landon cried when I made him get out.
Landon and Bryson lay out by the Rec Center pool. They are already good buddies.

Bryson shares his toys with Landon.

Spring-Time Fun!

Landon hanging out on the new patio furniture.
The box it came in is pretty fun too!
Landon loves to do whatever daddy is doing so when daddy mows, so does Landon.

Landon checks out the pretty red tulips.

Day At The Zoo!

We took Landon to the zoo last weekend. It was a bit chilly but lots of fun. We met up with Kristen, Marty, & Maddie Grace and Trent, Christa, & Bryson. We all had a great time! Landon and Scott pet the sheep at Grassmere Historic Farm, which is inside the zoo. Landon kept saying, "baahh!".
Landon walking up to the farm house.
Maddie, Landon, and Bryson pose for a picture inside the "Creature Center". We saw lots of different spiders, snakes, fish, lizards, etc. Scott and Trent weren't too thrilled to see all of that but the kids liked it.
Landon wanted to get a closer look. He tried to climb over a few times!
Maddie and Landon loved the toddler play mat. They wore themselves out running and jumping!
Landon petting the goats. He is not afraid of anything - not sure yet if that's a good thing or bad.
The goats seemed to like all the attention!
Fun on the carousel!

Landon was asleep by the time we got out of the zoo onto the highway! He definitely had a good time.
